What is Reiki
Reiki is a gentle Japanese practice based on the idea of universal life force energy, the subtle energy that flows through everything. If that sounds a bit "woo," don't worry. You don't have to fully believe in it to feel its effects.
Ever had that moment where someone walks into a room and you feel it, before they even make a sound? That's energy. Or when you wake up in the middle of the night because your child (or cat) is silently staring at you? Also energy.
Even quantum physicists agree: at our most fundamental level, we are all energy.
In a Reiki session, the practitioner doesn't give you their energy. Instead, they act as a conduit, gently guiding universal life force energy through a series of hand positions, hovering just above the body. And your body? It takes exactly what it needs.
Sometimes that's calm. Sometimes clarity. Sometimes just a really good nap.
What to expect
In-studio sessions take place in our separate wellness area: a cozy, quiet corner with a massage table, tucked away from the main studio space. You'll lie down fully clothed. You don't have to do anything, just be. Evy will guide you into a relaxed state and channel Reiki energy.
Sound can be added to sessions as well; layered in for extra relaxation, or to work more specifically on certain areas of the body.
You might feel warmth, tingling, deep calm, or simply… space. Every session is different, because you're different each time. Your energy knows what it needs.
Sessions in the studio start from €75.
Reiki sessions at the studio are held by Evy. She did her Reiki Level 1 in
Thailand in 2019, and went back to the same school for Level 2 in 2023.
She uses it to take care of herself privately, and to hold space for others in the sessions she offers here.
